Yep, came on for the last 24 minutes or so. Has had a torrid time with injury and it was his first appearance since April 2010...didn't really do too much to be honest though he didn't have much service.
Clarke did enough, he got the assist on the goal!

I thought so too and was all chuffed but then I heard it was Southern, now Blackpool's site says Clarke. It was a nice little ball over the top but that goal was all about the finish Regardless of what he did its just good to see him playing.

Think it was meant to be a cross, can't be sure though.

I think he meant it. It travelled WAY too far away from a team-mate's head for it to have been a cross. If he was aiming for a team-mate then it was a shockingly bad attempt!
    That's my take anyway.

I agree, when he takes the shot he looks directly at the top corner of the goal and doesn't even look for which players are running in on goal.

Was reading Robbie Savage's column in The Mirror yesterday while waiting for a sandwich in a cafe (swear).

Had a little piece about how he was talking to Kevin Keegan and they both agreed Robbie Brady had it all and was the player to impress them most outside the Prem this year. Savage also said he was highly impressed by Jeff Hendrick.

Saw the extended highlights of Hull's 2-0 loss to West Ham on the Football League show. Despite the result, Hull created most of the chances and Brady was heavily involved, including one great pass through the defence that Fryatt should have scored from. I think he's going to get his chance at United even with Young and Nani ahead of him. Very promising - reminds me of the player McGeady should be in a lot of ways (but obviously he's not at the same level yet).

I rate Brady higher than Pilkington and think that the young lad deserves a chance before him.

Brady seems to be in poor form lately. Recently he was subbed twice around the hour mark and then got dropped in the last game.

He was poor for the 25 minutes or so he played against West Ham. A number of over hit crosses (and corners), weak control of the ball and quite wayward with his passing. We'll put it down to a bad day at the office but he won't be getting a senior call-up any time soon based on Saturday's showing.

Was this the match at the weekend? If so then the highlights reel I saw must have been different to the live game you saw - I was very impressed.
That's what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older, they stay the same age
