    Weather

What's the weather like in Dublin?

It's a howling gale here in London (late Friday pm), utterly foul.

RTE forecast says wet & windly.

How bad will it be and will bad weather suit us?

Its lashing rain here at the moment and shows no sign of stopping, wind not too bad. Apparently there will be a respite for the match 2m according to Met Eireann.

Any danger of waterlogged pitch if the rain keeps up?

Has any game ever been postponed at Croker? They have the best of everything.

There's 14 hours for the pitch to dry out, so shouldn't be a problem.

RTE's are notoriously unreliable. BBC's are the most.

Have to say weather is crap in Dublin. Lots of rain. Match tonight between Sp Fingal V Bray went ahead at Morton Stadium, but in all my years watching games there I've never seen the pitch in such a bad state. Its sand based and usually just soaks up the rain but tonight it was like a pond.

    Croker will be ok though.
