I had heard before that the small earth tremors sometimes reported in Inishowen and less often around Fanad are down to a fault line that runs up through Scotland. I wonder is it the same thing you are mentioning?
I'd imagine it's the same thing, aye. They have a seismogram in Glenveagh National Park which records local seismic activity. The largest "earthquake" recorded in the local area was in Ramelton on the 21st of February in 2008, I believe; a whopping 2.4 on the Richter Scale. Well, relatively-speaking...

This is the Owencarrow rift outlined in red and, below that, the continuation of the rift valley up through Scotland, where it becomes more pronounced as it virtually divides the country into two landmasses separated by a deep 100-mile-long valley of lochs:

    Cheers!

That Eiffel Tower one was on the BBC the other day.

Sacrebleu!: A lightning strike gives a vivid backdrop to the iconic Eiffel Tower, while the Paris landmark is illuminated in vibrant blue lights. Amateur photographer Bertrand Kulik captured the shot which will appear in an exhibition titled "Lumieres celestes, lumieres des hommes", in Issy L'eveque, Burgundy. It was taken 21:02 GMT, 28 July 2008 during a storm in the French capital.

Looking at Edmundo's photos I think that that's the first time I have missed Melbourne since I came home from Oz in 2006.

I'll guess this was more of a BNP-style anti-Islam meet than a demonstration for a secularist future for all?

Hard to disagree with Brian Laws on this one though.

One of my favourite running routes. Quarndon looking down on the University of Derby.

    Quarndon again.

I do a very short off road part of a 10 mile run. This is a hilltop run.

Can't imagine fielding with a camera in your hand really did you many favours there.

This is the Tissington Trail from Ashbourne, Derbyshire to Parsley Hay 13 miles further into the hills. It follows an old railway line.

I've run it a few times but only run the whole thing once over two days. 26 miles. There's avery slight gradient but hardly noticeable.

This is a 5 counties view point. Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Staffordshire, Yorkshire and Derbyshire from Crich memorial.

Another of my running route which is Crich to Matlock in the Peaks again.

Oh I was out and changed at that stage. 4 hours of intense boredom. This was around 9pm actually and I was going to call bad light. I never lined out for the next game. I'm not sure I was asked even.

Did you ever notice that in every painting of Adam & Eve, they have belly buttons. Think about that...take as long as you want.
