We've still beaten Bohs twice this season...they should win but it won't be easy.

Bohs are the better team and should have won the league at this stage...looks like Shamrock's title now though.

    Bohs still.
Bearing in mind Dundalk's magnificent performance against Dublin teams so far this season- 2 point from 11 games- Rovers might have a sliver of a chance of a win.

If Rovers get 6 points from the next 2 games its theres imo cant see Pats doing anything in the last game of the season to help us if it goes that far just gonna hope that Sean Connor doesnt play the reserves on Friday and let his team roll over an Rovers get an easy win

If you want "fancy footballers" to win the league, then it's obvious who it will be. If you want "fair play" to win it, you'll want us.

I think both teams will win the last 4 games, thus Rovers taking the league.
Cork are in ribbons, and Dundalk seem intent on playing a different code to association football, thus depriving them of the full set of X1 each week!

Bohs will tank pats. I think their game against an in-form sligo would be the potential banana skin.

As said earlier, whether Rovers win the league or finish 2nd its been a good campaign with overwhelming positives from the club on and off the field.
Ask any Rovers and they wil say they feel the good times are returning for the club.
And hopefully Rovers can get shelley & cretaro next season and do well in europe.

Bohs will easily beat Pats tomorrow, Rovers will easily beat Cork. At the end it should be Shamrock Rovers who will lift it I think, Bohs have been nowhere near as good as last year.

I assume you're refering to the three Dundalk players sent off last Friday having to serve a suspension ? surely they'll do that tomorrow and thus be available to play against us on Friday ?

Maybe you're right there. I hope you are. If they get an automatic suspension of one game, when will the disciplinary committee dish out more, if any?
But even if they are all available, there is still the distinct prospect of Dundalk rolling over.

I did't take long for the Bohs conspiracy theorists to come out!

Boo-hoo the big bad Sean Connor is out to get us, version # 384

This is the type of ****e Drogheda fans were spouting a couple of years ago and look at them now. Your club is doing well at the moment, fair enough and should be sustainable next year as its a stronger model than Drogs ever were. However, if your results start to wane you will see crowds dropping. Its a league of Ireland certainty, Tallaght or no Tallaght. You've won nothing yet son.
I wouldn't be so sure Cretaro would leave anyways. I'm sure he's on a decent wage, he's Sligo to the bone and we'll do all in our power to hold onto him and a few others.
Back to topic, I still think Bohs will take the title in the end. I hope they do anyways. Nicer footballing side in my eyes.

I hope you have something concrete to back that up with.

Any dundalk fan I have spoken too wants dundalk to beat rovers this Friday, as they want dundalk to win every game that they play in.

Though I thought bohs fans would of gotten over their dundalk/ sean connor obsession by now

my preference is for rovers to win. they I think are the lesser of two evils . seriously though great to see the league going down to the wire and not being sorted out with 5/6 games to go. Fair play to both teams

Rovers to win it by the way and me to take a very long holiday from this messageboard.

I have absolutely nothing with which to back it up, but I'm not going to pretend it didn't cross my mind or that the Dundalk manager is a friend of Bohs.

Proof will be in the pudding.

Not a hope that Dundalk will roll over against Rovers in Oriel in a crucial game. Never has happened, never will..
    The Model Club

Tell all the Bohs you know
that we've gone and won two-in-a-row
and it's not gonna be three
and it's not gonna be four
it's more likely to be 5-1.

I don't see how they can be called lucky. They don't have a particularly complicated gameplan (they defend as a unit and give the ball to the people who can play when they win it) but they break their balls for each other and play to the last minute. Most of the points Bohs have dropped this season have been as a result of bottling it, plain and simple. It's not like Bohs are swashbuckling purveyors of total football either, this season or last.

    As in Sean Connery?
Ah no, was just making a point, a fair one I thought. If you're nobody's son then what are you?
