Anseo !! Happens almost every fortnight
Although I must commend the lad Doyle, best ref I have seen this season.

We will wait and see if he sticks to his words or not??
Obviously not as Derek Tomney is back reffing Sligo Galway tonight!

I did hear that an official decision has been taken by the FAI to ensure that no ref will take charge of a final if a team from his area is involved!

Given the proliferation of refs from the dublin area I guess the Kelly's will be reffing a lot of finals!!!!

Didn't Clive Delaney play in a final in which his cousin ran the line a few years ago?
A leading authority on League of Ireland football since 2003. You're probably wrong.

And escaped giraffe running along the side of a pitch during a match? I'm sure that would have been in the news.

That was a UCD v Derry game I think. I think it was a league game though.

Also a Shels v Derry game. I think both times the cousin gave dubious offsides. Once to benefit Derry, once to screw them over.

2006 cup final, Derry v Pats. Typical anti-Dublin reffing bias!

This is nothing new. From experiential evidence, there must be rules saying that no referee may take charge of any League of Ireland game...
That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.

Help me, Arthur Murphy, you're my only hope!

jesus H, was Delaney rigging the match location not enough for Waterford ?

FAI STATEMENT - live from the bunker at Abbotstown.
The result of the EA Sports Cup final has been declared null and void after a select committee of the FAI (John Delaney) upheld a complaint that Bohs were in breach of the 65% rule (playing more than 65% of first team).
Following an investigation by the FAI disiplinary committee (sean Og dealaney, Johnathon delaney and the 2005 Oscar Wilde lookalike winner) there will be a toss up (wink wink ) to decide the EA Sports cup winner. the toss up will be on a best of three (or until waterford are ahead) basis.

    Signed
    John Delaney

And two weeks later some people are still whining about it.

Why not get over it and accept that your win has been accepted?
