Local radio commentary adds so much to the league, especially for those unable to travel to matches. In addition to information, it gives colour and character to the locality the team comes from. The commentary is pure Dundalk. It would be fascinating to hear commentary from other towns and cities.
One thing does grate with me though. Sometimes the boys forget to tell you what is happening.
"The ball is crossed into the box. Rowe rises.... ah would you look at that, what did he do that for...."
I don't know, I'm waiting for you to tell me. You're watching, I'm not.
