The FAI will want Waterford in the final. Forget about attendences during the season if Waterford make the final they will bring more than any of the other three teams FACT!!!!!!!!!!!

Those were the only 4000 (I think that was the official figure), who hadn't realised we were playing LongBall Town

In fairness, I dunno where Rafa B is getting the idea that we'll be guaranteed a big crowd. I'd expect 5 or 6000, maybe more if we make the final and beat Bohs on Saturday, but you never know - as blue til i die suggested, we could have 400 - the Waterford occasionals can be fickle.

I would have thought that Sligo would bring the biggest crowd of the lot - any excuse to get out of the Northwest for an afternoon

As regards the best match of the semis and any possible finals, I would suggest that it could be the semi in Sligo.

But then again, I would, wouldn't I.

You might all be surprised at the attendance of the cup final this year, it may well be bigger than anyone expects, I think there is a similar feel to this year`s cup to the 1990 final, the one where almost 30,000 attended Bray v St Francis.

Apart from Cork v Drogs a few yrs ago, overall attendances have been poor in the final, our last one in 2002 had just under 10,000 v bohs in tolka.
