Its hard enough to get people to write on the senior league not alone the junior league. I know alot of people look at this website. So instead of just looking sign up and start posting and it will make the munster senior league tread both senior and junior alot more interesting, Any match reports from the weekend?

Went to see Mayfield play Crosshaven Saturday, Mayfield needed to win 7-0 to progress in League Cup at the 'Halls expense but Crosshaven deservedly beat them 2-0. Mayfield players fighting among themselves, great entertainment!!

Handbags really! One of the Mayfield players stuck the head into his own left back Pat O'Leary (I think ex everton) who was complaining over a poor pass. Ref booked both players and the Mayfield manager took both off before they were sent off. Mayfield missed a couple of good chances, hit the crossbar in the last minute but were generally toothless upfront. Crosshaven missed a couple of glorious chances and the Mayfield keeper made two brilliant saves as well so 2-0 was about right. I think there was about 10 yellow cards given out in the game. Good game for the neutral though as Mayfield were expected to win but were getting crankier the more Crosshaven frustrated them.

Everton and Douglas hall are no where near as strong as they were last year.. This will be a very competitve league.. Ringmahon and rockmount would be my two favourites but i believe anyone can beat anyone in this division....

I see there are 11 teams in the division this year with Tramore pulling out.

Will only one be relegated so?

i'm not too sure. Maybe 2 will come up and one go down to make it 12 again..

CIT 0-0 Mallow?? I see they haven't entered a senior team team this year.. They will probably still struggle in that division

CIT are entering a senior team this year but they are not starting until October so are the moment their senior team are playing in the junior section. Any junior team that plays them at the moment are at a disadvantage until CIT senior team plays 5 matches from then on they will only be able to play 2 senior players rather than the current 11.
Crosshaven have lost to CIT and Mallow drew with them so is this fair? MSL SHOULD SORT THIS.

This happens every year with UCC also. Rules are rules. A player is not considered a senior player unless he has played the 5 games. You just either get lucky or unlucky. to be honest seeing the way CIT seniors were last year I dont think teams should have much to fear

Youghal pulled out of the 1st Division this year too.

Shocked that Tramore pulled out when you consider they won the 1st Division so convincingley. Must really want to focus on Senior.
Sepp Blatter and Michel Platini can rot in in hell the cheating langers. They got their wish I hope it's the worst World Cup EVER!
