If you're not warmed from the passion of a couple of hundred devoted souls then I despair. Off topic slightly but rumour has it there's a chance it may not be Flancare Park for too much longer. It'd be the end of an era but there's nothing definite yet apparently.

As I said I don't think the main man has decided anything yet but he's been finding it tougher to come up with the money each year as you'd expect these days. He might renegotiate I don't know. One thing's for sure without Flancare's money there'd be no LTFC today. We'll see how things develop in the next while.

Though the decision to buy United Park was taken 20 years ago (does anyone know the exact year ?), so as they say "we are where we are". As owners, the FAI have to be involved in any plans for United Park.

It's just a shame that more clubs didn't get bailed out by the FAI years back.

Maybe they should have just wound up the company, not paid their creditors and then just reformed under the umbrella of a new company name and use a pitch owned by someone else....
