Well you can forlornly look down the M1 when Fergus O'Dowd is a minister in the next government and Uncle Dermot is on the opposition bench
Hunky Dorys Park - could be worse, we could be going to Old Trafford every other week

Future plans for a new ground in time for next year's licensing?

Would a Finnish Flancare be even colder?

On the other hand, it could have a sauna, which would be nice.

If you're not warmed from the passion of a couple of hundred devoted souls then I despair. Off topic slightly but rumour has it there's a chance it may not be Flancare Park for too much longer. It'd be the end of an era but there's nothing definite yet apparently.

End of an era alright! Would it go back to being Mullaghor or something?

It would be cool if it was officially called "The Flansiro"!

that would be a pity we cant call our ground the flansiro any longer....
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

As I said I don't think the main man has decided anything yet but he's been finding it tougher to come up with the money each year as you'd expect these days. He might renegotiate I don't know. One thing's for sure without Flancare's money there'd be no LTFC today. We'll see how things develop in the next while.

No 'Flansiro'?... Does this mean the sponsorship on our shirts will go too?

It's just a shame that more clubs didn't get bailed out by the FAI years back.
Maybe they should have just wound up the company, not paid their creditors and then just reformed under the umbrella of a new company name and use a pitch owned by someone else....

Sorry Pauro just saw this now. It's a possibility yeah. I'd say he'd be more interested in keeping the ground name than the shirts.
