A transcendental amount no doubt...
I was just wondering, how many, do Bohs fans think, they'll bring down for the E.A. Sports Cup Final at the R.S.C. later this month ?
A transcendental amount no doubt...
60,000 hopefully
I’m not pedantic...I’m merely overly concerned with minute details.
i know when we played bohs in the league cup final in 2004 in flancare bohs only brought 300 away fans..that was the same week that Stephen Kenny got the bullet a few days earlier for his European failures.. I would be confident that Bohs wont bring much of a crowd down they only come out for the big cup finals( no offence but I mean by FAI Cup Final)
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
our away support has grown considerably since 2004 Martinho. Our numbers are pretty high most of the time. There were nearly 600 Bohs fans at the LC final against Derry the season before last so i dont think your opinion from 2004 really reflects how many fans Bohs bring to away games now (however away games against teams like Sligo on a Tuesday night will obviously have an effect on numbers that can travel).
I would say 5-600 Bohs fans will head to Waterford. I dont see any reason why we wouldnt bring that many. Every final is a big final for us this season, even the League Cup!
1200 tickets have been given to Bohs for the game, got it from our forum! 1200 seems alot but then again we don't get many fans in the gates anymore so meh! wouldnt surprise me if bohs fans outnumber us!
We brought 2,000 to Pat's for our League Cup Final! Bohs, Who are ya?
From what I remember there was 4,500 there!
I would have said a bit more than 1,000 but others are saying less... So I'm not sure, but it was definatly good for us.
Less than 1,000 anyhow, probably about 800 I reckon. Bray didn't bring too many so it was a nice improvement on our usual crowd this year. Hopefully some will come back for the next game.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
It was a joke!
But the point remains that we are the bigger club!
i know it was a joke...
and i agree.
I was talking to someone about the Cup Final today, and I suggested that the F.A.I, should make it an " Open Day " at The R.S.C. for the Cup Final. Make a real family atmousphere at the ground before the game.
600 went to Derry on a Tuesday night. Now its a Saturday i would expect a good few more.
Hopefully they'll all make it back this time too.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
