Shamrock Rovers
With Bohs blowing a sizable lead, losing to two teams in the lower regions of the division in a week, suspensions to come and generally looking tired.
And with Rovers on a great run, unbeaten in yonks with the wind in their sails, playing in front of big crowds with confidence and momentum on their side, who would you put your money on?
This is the time of the season that the managers earn their corn.
Still think Bohs will just have enough with the edge on having been there and done that from manager and players?
Bohs, I think Rovers wil just run out of steam in the last round of games and drop 9 or 12 points
Here on a technicality.
Rovers, with St. Pats second by default.
Rovers.
LESS OF THE BULL NOW!
Bohs..
The Model Club
Tell all the Bohs you know
that we've gone and won two-in-a-row
and it's not gonna be three
and it's not gonna be four
it's more likely to be 5-1.
Bohs....on the last day of the season!
Bohs have the strength in depth... Rovers will just come up short...
innit though??
Bray to pip it on final day...
Bohvers will win.
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.
Rovers have signed Graham Barret (ex Ireland), Barry Johnstone (Cliftonville captain), Ross Chisholm (~50 starts in SPL), Alan Manus (NI squad keeper), Paddy Kavanagh (Ire u23) and Pat Sullivan (one of Corks best players) during the recent window during which Bohs couldnt sign anyone.
If Bohs get many more suspensions or injuries, they will be relying on raw youngsters from the B team way more than Rovers.
Its going to be an interesting run-in, Rovers have 5H,4A while Bohs have 4H,5A, also Bohs have to play Derry, Cork and Rovers all away, plus Bohs have to squeeze in games v Waterford away in League Cup final and Coleraine at home in the Setanta. I can see Deegan getting hammered by the FAI after two red cards in three weeks, so he could be out for 4 games.
So I think Rovers have a slightly easier run-in. Bohs were way ahead of Rovers earlier in the season, so over the last 2 series of games Rovers have the momentum.
bhs
for me it has to be shamrock rovers its theirs to lose... They have the momentum no off the side saga to contend with like Bohs..
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
Bohs for me but in all honesty i don't think either of them are particularly brilliant teams. Not a patch on the bohs team of last year. I still think both teams will drop points before the end of the season but bohs will win it in the end.
With Bohs to play Rover, Cork & Derry away I'll give it to Rover
Bohs to win it for me. I have a feeling they will nick a win in Tallaght and the momentum will carry them on. Going to be close though and great to see a tight battle for the premier division.
Neither Cork will creep up and pip the pair of them on the last day of the season! (And then get demoted for some money scam!)
Aon, dó, trí, bhí mé i mo luí, thit mé den leaba, he! he! he!
