You'll never beat rovers dress up away to bray at the end of the 2007 season.
Or in 2006 when myself and another poster here, were drinking cans outside bray dart station dressed (like the rest of the group) as Santa. The looks on the faces of the kids walking by as two santas drank cans was priceless.festive hobos

That was some night, the old Jungle jammed to the rafters, pishing from the heavens & I thought I was going to puke on several occassions, no drink taken just nerves & that wee fecker, at the time, McHugh.

the best goal celebration I ever saw was Eric lavines against shels in 2004 season.. After he scored he went to the far corner flag where was no fans and started waving at noone in particular! town fans know which one Im on about!
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

He was standing in front of the scoreboard signalling (waving) for it to be changed in order to show that we'd scored another goal.

Dave Mooney after scoring v Rovers in Tolka in our relegation season! Never have I seen a goal celebrated like it, 90th minute, relegation escape well and truly on, Rovers with a great home record at the time, and we won. Unreal night!

it was a emotional night for town that night... it was a special occasion for me that day as my nephew kyle came into the world that day! the 2nd of august this year I believe that the town played that day too against Sporting Fingal and my wee niece was born that day too!
