No players whatsover for us from the midlands or west of ireland.

Colin Larkin and James O'Brien made their first appearances of the season

Can anyone confirm if Jamil Adam is going to play for Ireland or Nigeria? He was called into a training camp for the U-19's in May, but his wikpedia page - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jamil_Adam - says he's also been involved with the Nigeria U-20's
where do we go from here?

I think his most recent involvement was with us, previously Nigerian U20's.

I'd be wary of taking anything that page says at face value. When you decide to leave out the likes of Ronnie Whelan Liverpool's captain from the 1989-1990 squad to prove a point then the question has to be asked how much of the other data is similarly bogus.

funny thing(well not all that funny ) is the absence of irish players back in the 1990. where the hell were they playing? there seems way more nowdays.
    Not removing until:

Bohs get 10,000 attendance for LOI match

Bohs qualify for group stages of Champions League

    Brian Murphy returns to Dalymount

    Damien Richardson named Bohs manager

Put quite simply, they didn't exist, or if they did they were plying their trade at Croke Park, Semple Stadium and Parc Ui Chaiomh.

Although our international first 11 at the time was picked almost entirely from the top 1st Division clubs and Celtic, few of them were Irish born. It was only as a result of the Charlton era that more people in Ireland took up the sport and as a result our team now contains far more first generation Irish players than it did back then.

Unfortunately thanks to the continental based signing policies of Wenger, Benitez, Mourinho etc. our best players no longer play for the top clubs.

Incidentally, I didn't include Shane Duffy in the list of players, should he be added or not?
I leave his inclusion open to debate

    Todays Irish players

Andy Keogh scored for wolves, header from corner(?) steered inside the
    far post.
Andy Reid on bench for Suderland who are 1:0 up against the mighty Chelsea
which would be a bit of shock result for Chelsea if it stays that way.
    Celtic 1:0 down to Arsenal.

Does anybody watch the Irish at Ipswich?
    Some anecdotal reports
Steve Bruce is garnering astonishing fulsome praise from Ipswich fans.
    Delaney a misfit.
Garvan is being kept out by a misfiring Healy
