    Generic MNS Reminder

8pm, RTE2 tonight. More on Cork's perilous finances, European previews and Goal of the Month, presumably.

(Not that I can see much of it anyway. )

Kudozovic should have been in Rome this week not Cork. What a dive!
    You've got no fans.

Just heard Con murphy say there were fans locked out in Tallaght on Friday nite as it was a capacity crowd. Id imagine there was quite a few locked out as the game was on last night
On a sidenote the stadium didnt look full to me....
Why are people who "need no introduction" always introduced?

Does Ryan Guy have a mullet?

Someone tell him what year it is, please. He can make it into a 'V' and be a Sligo townie if he likes.

Yeah, there was easily a few hundred empty yellow and red seats on the far right of the stand.
Did Rovers not count the number of seats properly or are people paying for the stand and then standing behind the goal, or what?

Presumably a lot of them stand in the singing section.

...and hide under the seats, hang monkey-like from the rafters, go for a slash in their hundreds simultaneously etc etc...

Strange they only showed the goal from the Pats euro game. Highlights would've looked good too.

They shouldn't known too that both Pats and Derry games next weekend have been postponed

The away section had empty seats. The family section was full, it was two to a seat in the singing section and there was another 200 or so standing behind the goal. Do you really think Rovers would turn away fans (and money) if it wasn't full? As it is Rovers take into account a certain % of season tickets don't show up and plan accordingly but they can't risk a health and safety issue by overselling the number of seats by too much. Shouldn't be a problem for much longer anyway since the new stand opens Aug 22nd.

What did you think of the game last night from a home perspective, thought it was a great game with a great atmosphere

The officials at the Cork V Bray match had a shocker and showed how bad they really are.
In Fingal V Longford match ref had to shout 3 times at the lineswoman to raise her flag when the ball went out for a throw Shocking stuff.

It should be broadcast quality though. Putting the camera on someone else's shoulder is a little 1990's.

Is the capacity back to 3,000?

If so i'd be surprised if it wasn't full with the team challenging for the title
    I'm what? I'm ants at a picnic?
