It sounds like they haven't helped themselves, but the idea that you need a special visa to play a football match in a country is ridiculous to me. That amount of 'work' - 90 minutes, and under the employ of a Latvian company - should be reasonably covered under the 'just sign this bit to say you haven't committed mass genocide or slept with anyone for money' level of border control.
So if you think Bohs are big read this. http://www.astronomy.ie/perpespective.html
...if only we could unearth a similar rule to prevent other LOI teams from bringing full squads to Derry...
That reminds me about the old joke about Paul McGrath offering to take on England on his own while the rest of the Ireland team nips off to the pub. After a bit, they check the score on AERTEL:
Ireland 0-1 England
_________Shearer 63
When McGrath appears, they ask him what happened. It'd all gone swimmingly, he tells them, until he got send off after half an hour.
Maybe I'm a perpetual pessimist but I don't see this as a positive for Derry. It gives a historically poor side away from home a huge motivator to put in a great performance.

So are these 4 players definitely ruled out of tonight's game?
Best of luck to derry tonight.
The visa thing is a bit sketchy but i guess you take what you can get.
I think a 1:0 victory will be the order of the day.
I'm in unfashionably good mood today.
Shamrock Rovers- Where trophies are won and envy is scarce
Those players are not missing, it is the same 18 man panel that was in the last game.
