Agreed. Thought after last week we wouldn't have to play anymore matches on that carpet for the rest of the season. Thats the problem with a ten team league as well. Playing some teams maybe 5/6 times a season (even if they are a handy 3 points)
Wonder what odds on another red card for a Dundalk player during the game. There is a real lack of discipline in that team & they must have the most red cards for any team in the league this season
So you're not even going to play the Red Bull game?
Probably best not sure they would understand Fenlon's rant about their pitch, or care for that matter.
Wonder what the odds are on Fenlon getting his head stuck up the 4th officials arse permanently during the game?Wonder what odds on another red card for a Dundalk player during the game. Wrong. Oriel Park was awarded FIFA Recommended 2 Stars, valid until the March 2010, like Salzburgs [sic] pitch. Both pitches are authorised for use in all UEFA and FIFA competitions.

I'm sure your surface does meet whatever the UEFA/FAI standards are, but for me football should be played on grass. Keep that synthetic s****e for 7-a side football in the evenings.
If you did a poll you can bet most clubs would be against it, but its here now for the forseeable future so clubs just have to accept it.
So far it doesn't seem to be much of an advantage to Dundalk, but when you keep getting players sent off (not just bohs matches) you are going to struggle no matter what the surface you are playing on.
Thought the draw lacked any real athmosphere...they didn't even give us a list of team numbers FFS.
I mean we had to wait 10 seconds for Joanne 'I mean wtf' Cantwell to look through her note pad before calling out the team name...farcical and typical of RTE!!!
Manager: Fergal, have you your boots with ya?
Fergal: Ya, I have them here.
Manager: Ah good stuff, well give them to this man so, he forgot his!
Just watching some old MNS's and seen the draw there.
I saw Pat Byrne was doing the draw - does this mean his suspension from when he was manager of Kilkenny is finally over?!?!
I phoned the speaking clock to hear a voice speak, it said - "At the tone you will be very much alone"
Even though I watched the draw, and have the Sligo fixture noted in my diary, I still wondered when I saw this thread how I could have missed the fact that there's a draw today.
