    Little things in league

ok seen as its quiet enough on here thought id say a few things that annoy me in the league. Seen as were not going to have any proper grounds here for the forseable future the little things always annoyed me in the grounds.

Like the hoarding, get if right and in place properly so it looks good. dont have it out of place here and there.

Second the dugouts, such a simple thing but all i seem to see is a ****ty block dugout with school chairs bolted down, or maybe a bit of perspec glass. Hardly the 14 seater with luxary chairs that big clubs all have but still, why not. couldnt imagine it would cost a whole pile.

The outside of grounds also in a lot of cases are as bad as the inside.
Now maybe people will think this is rubbish but i just always felt when we aint going to have big modern stadiums we could at least have the little things done properly.

Are you for real? YOu've no idea what it costs and you want clubs to spend money on that rather than the multitude of other, far more deserving, needs

I've no problem with people saying we should get the small things right but some sort of perspective needs to be in place.

Feck comfy sub seats. You don't want to make players want to be on the bench.

ya ok i know what ur saying dodge but these things would only need to be done once. clubs arent spending any money on grounds, thats kinda my point. these small things annoy me maybe not everyone.

I sat in those seats when I visited the Bernebeu. I can now understand why a player would be happy to spend a season or two on that "bench"

Clubs spend a fortune on the maintenance of grounds. Even the crappy grounds are a pit for money

Only because you don't know how much goes in. We're out of Belfield Park 18 months, and it's literally falling down now; the fence has fallen in, some of the stand has come down (probably due to vandalism, but would still need to be repaired), there's weeds everywhere.

And can you spell out words like normal people? Thanks.

Oh I think you've totally lost the run of yourself old son! if you draw up a list of priorities for any club, stuff like advertising hoardings and dugouts are right down the pecking order, at the moment a lot of clubs are doing well to keep the wages, water, pitch up-keep and electricity bills paid! (I dare say that some are not even managing that!) snazzy dugout with fancy leather seats are way down the list... lets face it they're in use for about 4 hours a month (2-3 home games per month) and 9 months a year... hardly worth spending 5 or 6 grand on them........
    innit though??

perception is everything, it just annoys me personally. Its the little things that make the difference IMO. but i obvisiouly i realise how tight money is as you all say. I just think were never going to be a big league but at the very least we could have the very basics in place.

Luxury benches are not basics. The clue is in the name

Dont bite Dalymounttrower. Its well known that derry city and Finn harps are one and the same (I think Finn Harps must be the irish name for Derry City)
