IMO Turners Cross is the finest, my favourite though is Tolka.

As regards stadia i think Flancare deserves a mention. I would say that tho wouldn't i! But in fairness, the pitch is half decent and the its even all the way around which adds to it.
Like Dalymount would be savage if there wasnt a carpark a terrace, and a half a stand not used.
Tolka - Good i think but OMG. The stairs in on the Shed side is a complete deathtrap. not one of them the same as the one before. get killed on them. could get closed for a while if build reg got a look.
Athlone is okay. too much bars and walkways but nice.
Brandywell. I think the track makes a balls of the lot. didn't like the place.
    Terryland is nice and shiny!!

Now that the new stand is built at Waterford I think it has improved dramatically. The pitch there has also been improved given the recent internationals there so it is getting there!

They also have the biggest dressing rooms in the league - could comfortably hold two american football squads!!!

Terryland for me. Best pitch, two fairly decent stands. If they could get something proper behind the goals it'd be far and away the best.

Flancare is good also, but in the open parts atmosphere does get a bit lost.

Tolka, IMO is a crumbling state. One decent half stand, and the rest feels like it could fall over any minute. God knows what sort of creature you could be sitting in the open parts.

Finn Park or Century Homes Park are the two worst IMO...

Flancare is a dump, looks good in an ariel photo, but arent large sections of the ground are closed off as they are unsafe?

The best ground in the league will be Tallaght by a mile when the second stand goes in this summer.

Currently its probably Turners Cross, thought I havent been in the new stand in Terryland yet.

What are you on about? They are called safety railings. If you want a stand that is full of obstructions, look no further than the main stand in Sligo.

Yes, fair play to the SDCC.

Can't believe anyone would have a good word to say about Tolka. Its a dump and hasn't had a cent spent on it on a decade.

Its a kip, but, i like it because its a kip. For the same reason i like Finn Park. Old fashioned stadiums are the best ones!

I don't understand why anyone rates Tolka! One of the joys of the Tallaght stadium is nit having to go to Tolka with its broken seats, dark stands & general lack of maintenance. It could be a handy stadium but mainly let down by crampted nature & complete lack of any maintenance.

Tallaght is clearly the best stand but needs at least a second stand to become a stadium.

I also don't understand the criticism of Turners Cross. The ground has been developed at moderate cost & is a good size for the LOI. It doesn't have the best stands but surely it is better to build what you can afford rather than keep waiting for the big grants to get approval. BTW the new St Annes End stand is a little disappointing as the finish is cheap & clearly corners were cut.

Agreed. Cork are by far the best financial model for any club. One followed by Rovers. "Let someone else build it"

a section of the uncovered stand is closed because it wasn't allowed for our third UEFA license.

My first trip to Richmond Park was a major let down after the hype created my then manager Pat Dolan who dubbed it the Stadium Of Light... home of the Supersaints.

There is nothing wrong with the place but I was a little disappointed.

It would be alot better if it where all seated! If your heading to Oriel on Friday, you'll be further disappointed!

Right so, we'll get them removed and leave ledges with a 20 foot drop so will we?

Well the absolute cheek of us for fundraising and getting grants.
