I didn't theorise at all, I just said it was suspicious, which it is, I mean the people at Harps aren't stupid, they must have known. I'm not going to say it was done on purpose, but they definitely knew the pitch was in a bad state, before the referee called the game off.

thats not true TERRYLAND was sanded last week with 60t of sand was seeded and spiked on wed this week yet was perfectably playable last week for mervue game 2 days after been sanded and was in good condition tonight ,,if carried out correctly there should not be a prob.
Bad news the game was postponed. Hopefully Harps will get enough money from the gate they receive when the replay goes ahead.

Wouldn't think that will happen, if the game is replayed, I seriously doubt many Shels fans will attend, I know I won't be, what happened today was an absolute disgrace, and its easy to feel sorry for Harps when you didn't spend 8 hours today on a bus that ultimately went nowhere.

Maybe if you defended better at home in the last minute of last season, you would have faced an 8 minute trip across the river tonight instead. And put up a bit of resistance too.
Game will be replayed. There has been a lot of rain up there lately, and pitches are covered with sand if they're in bad condition. I don't suspect Harps of having an ulterior motive, as they need the money.
We were missing Johnny Havlin and Conor Gethins, both have been p!ss this season and its not something that would have us worried.
Another point is, does anyone here actually think we are worried about a couple of points? We are sitting 4th from bottom 4 points from the team above us, I doubt very much that we are worried about 3 points this season.
We actually have fans who had money on Shels to win 4-0 or more (not that I condone it but every man to their own), so I doubt very much anyone up here was happy at last nights decision by the ref.
That's a typical Dublin solution. I guess a few years ago the FAI would have awarded you the game, paid your expenses, and humbly apologised for any inconvenience. Might even have given your 20 supporters a voucher for Bus Eireann. But Bohs have now taken over the Shels mantle. I do remember going to a game in Tolka on a cold winters day. Every game in the Premier league was called off early in the day. We listened on the radio to see why the game was not called off, but as we turned off the M50 we were told the game was still on. However when we got to the ground we were informed the game was just called, and their attitude to the couple of hundred Derry City supporters who made the journey was..........
Too F***ing Bad'
Remember, what goes around comes around. So the 20 of you, just suck it up.
Probably only an overreaction on the licence withdrawal tbh, and even at that its debatable.
