Basically, Cork City FC and the Cork Schoolboys League have announced a new agreement which will see the Cork Schoolboys League u16 team operate as the Cork City FC development squad.

Quite a big move for City. Hopefully, it'll allow us to spot young talent and sign them before the English clubs do.

there was talk of this a while back. we need to have a third team in the u18 age group to meet the uefa licensing requirements and this is probably the best way of doing it without ruffling too many feathers

for far too long there hasnt been a strong tie between underage and senior sides, so i think this could be great news indeed

excellent news. this is a big step in the right direction. and to think only a few years back we were letting leicester in on our patch. how things have changed
