Surly he can't play for the Under 18's and Under 19's... I appreciated that he may have been born in 1994 which makes him eligible for the Under 18 and your obviously aloud play for an older age team (hence the 19's) But these two teams are under different rules... Under 18's play DDSL (Super) and U19's play under the FAI....
Now forgive my ignorance, but am I not correct in saying that you cannot play in two diferent organisations... (DDSL & FAI)
As the U19 Elite league is in its first year, maybe they have a new rule which states that you can... But if not, Dundalk could be in a lot of bother here.... I know Kurt Murphy is also a player who plays for both the 18's and 19's.....
OP updated with Quarter and Semi Final draws.
The FAI have confirmed that Salthill Devon have been removed from the Airtricity Under 19 Enda McGuill Cup competition for playing a suspended player in their recent penalty shootout win over city rivals Mervue Utd in the second round. Mervue Utd have now been re-instated into the competition and will play current Elite Division league leaders Cork City in the quarter final on Sunday March 4th in Bishopstown at 2 p.m.
2 games in the cup today.
At half time its:
Rovers 1-1 Dundalk
Bohs 1-0 Derry
Dundalkfc 3 Sham.Rvrs 2 AET
So the first semi final will be between Bohs and Dundalk in Dayler at the end of March.
That leaves us with 6 weeks in between league games. Balls.
Can anyone confirm both Semi-Final dates please?
