The deadline for receipt of financial information for 2010 licence applications was last Friday, January 29th. Financial submissions have now been received from Premier, First Division and Newstalk A Championship clubs. Terenure 4ths squad strength was tested in the Sidney Bedlow cup on Saturday as they took to the field without 5 regular starting players, including their prolific front two who have around 40 goals between them so far. The changes to the team were evident early on as Terenure struggle to get any foothold in the game. VEC dominated possession and took full advantage of the favourable slope, wind and blinding Winter sun to race into a two goal lead. Terenure looked to be heading out of the cup at this stage, but managed to rally towards the end of the first half and Bernard Geraghty went close with a header from a Pat Sinnott cross.
