Monksland United were tonight (Wednesday) crowned 2010 CCFL Premier Champions when goals for Les Browne and John Francis secured them a 2-1 victory away to Temple Villa. season will bring even more local derbies as they move to the Senior Division and will take on Melville, St Peters and Willow Park. All involved with Athlone Town FC would like to congratulate Monksland United on their achievement.
