Sligo Rovers have confirmed that they have rejected a bid for in-form striker Padraig Amond. The bid has come from Portugese side Pacos Ferreira but the club have rejected the offer and are keen to hold on to the striker, who is currently top of the Premier Division scoring charts with 17 goals.
