Ronaldo has expressed his delight at playing for Corinthians and suggested that Brazilian players abroad should return to play in their country.

While no doubt talented in his time, I doubt today he is anything more than slow, overweight and injury prone and many European clubs wouldn't touch him with a barge poll.

You cannot be paying someone 100,000 a week to spend most of the season out injured or who is just not match fit.

His career was runined by injuries but also temperment and weight problems. Still a good striker in his prime.
